Happy Birthday, Honey!

This picture was painted for my Husband's birthday. The RV is his favourite Airplane Design. He enjoys this picture. He has in the past worked on building an RV-3, (All are from Van's Aircraft, Oregon), and flown in the prototype RV-4 in the early days before buying the partly finished RV-3 Kit he did some work on.

I like to join him in the summer on Trips to Oshkosh, Wisconsin, for the famed 'Air Venture' show, but I really don't like the usual accomodations (Camping)! On the other hand - last year when we set up Camp in a new area, I was thinking of some friends from Pensylvania we had met there three years earlier, and as fate would have it - we had parked just the second spot over from where they were set up!!

I discovered this view while searching online about Kerch, and felt it was a great candidate for painting! It was done using Acrylic on Canvas - a Very nice medium to work with.
